BudaPart as an event venue

BudaPart is a multifunctional event venue that offers excellent opportunities for sporting events, cultural performances, corporate events, promotional activities, photo shoots, and film shoots.

The BudaPart-Kopaszi Dam area is a private area open to public traffic. Our rental areas can be closed off after consultation and function as private event spaces.

Our event venues are open-air spaces, so we do not have a covered event venue. If you need an indoor space, we will be happy to help you by recommending service providers operating in the area. (e.g. Öbölház Event Center, Radisson Budapest BudaPart)

Filming and photography permits

BudaPart's modern architecture, iconic office buildings, shopping streets, and landscaped open spaces make it a popular location for filming and professional photography.

BudaPart-Kopaszi dam is a privately owned area open to public traffic. As the owner of the area, it is our responsibility to ensure that activities taking place there, including filming and photography, are safe. Please minimize disruptions and do not endanger safety.

Filming and photography on social media channels require a permit. Please contact us in advance at Show E-mail address to ensure that you comply with our guidelines and that your chosen location is available on the day.

To film or take photos at BudaPart, you must do the following:

1. Read the Terms and Conditions and the entire content of the website.
2. Send an email regarding the planned filming or photo shoot to Show E-mail address.
3. After contacting us, we will approve the filming/photography.
4. Once we have given our approval, we will send you a confirmation email. Please show this to security personnel upon request.

We reserve the right to charge 100% of the agreed fee in case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the shoot.

Do I need permission?

Yes
If:
The filming and photography is for professional use, sale, commercial gain, or media reproduction purposes, including social media; and/or it could potentially cause disruption or damage to people or property at BudaPart.

What fees apply?
Fees vary depending on location, size, and type of filming/production. We review each request based on these factors and the agreed-upon fee.

A permit is not necessarily required if:
the images are taken solely for amateur purposes and there is no intention to reproduce them for media, sales or commercial gain (e.g. tourist, hobby or student); and
your equipment is minimal (e.g., no more than a camera and a tripod); and you do not cause disruption or damage to people or property in the area.

CONTACT

The venue rental fee is calculated based on the size of the requested area, but depending on the type of event, a minimum daily rental fee will be charged.
