Family programs, shared match screenings, dancing until dawn – there will be something for everyone. You might even run into Dominik Szoboszlai.
Dominik Szoboszlai at BudaPart
One of the weekend’s most spectacular events will be the Hungarian final of Red Bull Four 2 Score. The tournament features four-player teams competing without goalkeepers in fast-paced, ten-minute matches. Thanks to the unusual rules, excitement is guaranteed right until the final moments.
What makes the event even more exciting is that Dominik Szoboszlai will also take to the pitch at 5:30 p.m. with his team, Team Szobó. Alongside the Liverpool star, spectators will also be able to see several former Hungarian national team players, including Balázs Dzsudzsák, Roland Juhász, Péter Kabát, and Sándor Torghelle. Sunset, Beer, and the Champions League Final
Football fans can get into the match-day spirit at several locations on Saturday, 30 May. One of the most anticipated football events of the year, the Champions League final, will be shown at Flava Beach, Veranda, and Kopaszi Kert.
At Flava Beach, gates open at 2:00 p.m., so those who want to secure a good spot by the waterfront should arrive early. Admission is free, and the organizers are also preparing a Heineken promotion with gifts for supporters: two pints of beer come with clapper sticks, while four pints come with a scarf. You can read more about the event here.
Veranda Restaurant Pasta & Pizza will welcome football fans with an Italian-style dinner and the final shown on three TVs. Pizza, pasta, spritz, and great football: it is hard to imagine a better Saturday evening program. The broadcast starts at 6:00 p.m., and table reservations are recommended – details here.
At Kopaszi Kert, visitors can watch Paris Saint-Germain take on Arsenal on a giant screen, with riverside atmosphere, sunset views, and Pilsner tank beer adding to the experience. Advance table reservations are not available, so anyone hoping to get a good spot should arrive early. Gates open at 11:00 a.m., with more details available in the Facebook event.
The Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart is also joining the football weekend: the Skybar will have extended opening hours, welcoming guests until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday. Alongside the rooftop atmosphere, the hotel is introducing a new snack selection and a special offer: every food order comes with a pint of draft beer, while the Lobby Bar and the restaurant will operate according to their regular hours. More information is available here.
Children’s Day Fun for Kids and Adults
Football may take center stage this weekend, but the youngest visitors have not been forgotten either. On Sunday, 31 May, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Kopaszi Kert will host the BABY RAVE Children’s Day Special, a colorful, music-filled family event where children and parents can relax and have fun together.
Alongside kid-friendly music, techno beats, bubbles, confetti, and a carefree atmosphere, families can enjoy glitter tattoos, hair braiding, balloon twisting, face painting, games, and surprises. You can read more about Kopaszi Kert’s weekend programs here.
A Children’s Day Story Experience at VakVarjú
The VakVarjú restaurant group is preparing a special story experience for its youngest guests. The Hungarian-language children’s story “Join the Crow Dance!” (“Rázzad Te is a Varjútáncot!”) was written by János Lackfi especially for VakVarjú, with the aim of turning time spent at the restaurant into a shared family experience. The playful, lovable story comes to life as a coloring booklet in the restaurants, allowing families to read, color, and talk together before or during their meal. More information is available here.
